Yayyyyyy! Those of you who don’t know little old jw (*why* are you reading my blog then? Nosey or what?! :P ) I loveeeeee the Eurovision Song Contest!

And it’s tonight! Big yay!

Where else can you enjoy over 3 hours of camp music, camp dancers, cheesy hosts and see the true politicalness of Europe (and how Cyprus just *loves* Greece, and vice versa)? Plus the accompanying ‘wit’ from Sir Wogan.

As usual, the UK will probably end up nowhere near the top, even though I think we’ve got one of the better entries this year. Ireland’s is just *weird*…and, well, as for the Ukrainian one, umm… I’m sorry, words cannot describe it. It’s awful. It’s obvious that they don’t want to host the event for 2 years in a row!

Anyway, it starts at 8pm tonight (after the NATIONAL LOTTERY – another big yay) and I will no doubt blogificate myself again after the event all sad and upset cos it’s gone for another year (well nooooo, not another year cos in November there’s the junior one :P but that’s bor-ing).

So it was ISTANBUL 2004, and it’s KYIV 2005… NOTTINGHAM 2006 anyone? ;) No… I didn’t think so.

Oops, sorry bloggywoggy, I forgot about you.. I hope you don’t feel too neglected.

And I forgot about what happened at Pride Park. *curses stupid short term memory*

However, the far more exciting news is that laura loves me… aww *HALO*

…and I got the highest mark in our group for the League of Nations work.

Woo indeed.

Exc.

Everyone I’ve asked have worked out that they’d be better off voting Lib Dem (except Laura, bloody Green Party – as if!). Now, if only they’d actually vote for them, Charlie boy might stand a chance of getting into power.

Ho hum.

(Okay, the last politics entry for a while, I promise!)

P.S. – Joey and Jakey sitting in a tree…

Okay, the election’s 5th May. People know who I support, although I legally can’t vote unfortunately.

However, loads of people really don’t know who to vote for (isn’t that right *JOANNE*?), so this site is useful to help you decide:http://www.whoshouldyouvotefor.com. Simply enter your views by answering a range of multichoice questions and it says who you should vote for.

Just so you know, it did honestly recommend I vote Lib Dem, but I knew that anyway.

The story of Pride Park and the Key Skills presentation will be finished for the weekend, I pwomise.

Oh, and it’s a rollover in EuroMillions yet again.

Copyright on said phrase duly acknowledged for Brian Chelsea Potter (Peter Kay) from Phoenix Nights.

I have a dream, ladies and gentlemen. I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed (okay, okay, copyright on said phrase duly acknowledged once again to Martin Luther King, Jr!) and we will rise up and leave all the ashes (*FINE*, copyright goes to Embrace and ‘Ashes’) of the existing government behind and we move forward into a liberal and democratic society. After all: Britain forward, not back – right? (grr, copyright Labour :P ). I’m such a little plagiarist :D

In other words, I’ve just read the Lib Dem manifesto. It actually makes sense… it’s refreshing to see a political party who try to convey ideas for the country’s future, rather than just slagging off the opposition. VOTE YELLOW.

Just, for God’s sake, don’t vote Conservative. “Are you thinking what we’re thinking?” – yes, I’m thinking you’re a pile of poo. Tossers.

But the ironic thing is… I’M TOO YOUNG TO VOTE! :( GAH!

Hello blogski… posting now just to keep up the fact I’ve updated it daily :P

Now, far be it from me to *EVER* slag off the National Lottery and Camelot Group, plc, but now after around 3 consecutive (and many more non-consecutive) standard midweek draws, nobody’s won. So it’s yet another rollover (#167 – *backflip* :D ) on Saturday.

Surely this proves nobody actually bothers playing the midweek lottery anymore, so shouldn’t it be scrapped and just make Saturday’s jackpot bigger instead? It’s obvious the Beeb doesn’t care about it either, shoving it on at a ridiculous time of 10.35pm. Tsk.

Anyway, enough of my moaning, I’ll blog again tomorrow with the story of my adventure to Pride Park. So you can look forward to that.

Until then, it’s goodbye!

Okay, I said I’d blog again “later tonight” and I obviously didn’t. I do most sincerely and humbly apologise thusly. Forgiven? Yes? Oh good. :)

Today was another awesomely boring day, as usual. Nothing significantly interesting happened today… I kept breathing which is trés good of me, I’m sure you will agree.

Life seems to be dominated by collegework at the moment unfortunately, which is ever so slightly tedious. Ah well, as Gordon the hippo…sorry, hippy, elegantly put it, “only 10 weeks to go then you’ll start the rest of your life”. Yay.

The pre-release material does seem easy this year for ICT which is good, especially considering I have to finish 3 lots of them (everyone else only has to do 2, grr) for the end of the month.

And fingers crossed I might be able to swap Project Management for User Support which is amazingly easier… I should hopefully find out tomorrow if I can or not.

*wanders off to the land of pre-release material*

Toodles.

Well hello, bloggy.

I am unimpressed. The history work was done, as you know, at around 3am this morning…excellent I thought, I’d just about met the deadline with no problems.

Only to find out today the deadline has been extended until tomorrow. So I didn’t have to stay up until 3am to get it all done…I could’ve finished nice and early and resumed today to fine tune it.

Tsk tsk tsk.

Annnnyway, nevermind, it’s all done and out the way now…Gordon expects us to start revising for the subject this week, despite the fact the exam isn’t until the middle of June *sniggers loudly* – yeah right!

In other news *DUM DUM* (just like BBC News :P ), I am still visually impaired today with generally blurryness in my right eye which also hurts like mad. :(

Ah well, I seem to complain too much :D

Nothing else has happened between the last entry and this one, apart from the fact I have been breathing in…and out…and in…and out on a regular basis, which I think is good, cos it means I’m alive. That *is* good, isn’t it? :)

If you’re very nice to me, I may consider reblogging again later tonight…if not, well, I’ll punish you by reblogging again later tonight. Hmm, my logic is screwed.

Bah.

Woohoo! Somehow…my history’s done! Completely! The word limit was 2,500 (min)-3,500 (max) words. My essay is 3,499! How lucky is *that*!

It’s all been printerooed now and is sitting oh so innocently in my bright green see-thru folder ready for tomorrow morning. It’s 16 full pages of printed 12-point Times New Roman text. It doesn’t actually seem a lot in print, but I can assure you, it’s 7 months worth of work there, and it counts towards 50% of my final grade. Eek. Though I’m not bothered really because like I said in an earlier bloggywoggy, it’s a subject I’m not taking further so it doesn’t matter what I get. :)

Now, if Gordon decides to extend the deadline or is ill or something, meaning I’ve stayed up until 3am for nothing, he is DEAD. I don’t mean that as a euphemism, he is literally dead!!

Nothing else to report really, apart from I am going to argue with the ICT lot tomorrow (well, later today) about *why* they refused my request for Unit 18 when it’s on the intranet as an acceptable unit, and instead, they’ve given me Unit 14 which is horribly evil, and Unit 18 is super easy.

Sorry for sounding oh so boring, but I’ve been forced into doing this stupid work so that’s all I’ve been able to do this weekend! I should’ve picked a better time to start the blog really, when interesting stuff is actually happening. Meh.

Oh, and so you know in advance – the highlight of may day tomorrow will be watching the new episode of The Simpsons that I Sky+’d earlier from Sky Onc. Yes, Onc. Seen their pathetic logo? It clearly says Onc and not One. Graphic designers are so lazy nowadays aren’t they? They get paid trillions of pounds of money and do a rubbish job and I bet I could do a better job for half… <RANT CUT HERE>

Bye bye bloggy. I’ll update you again tomorrow, I’m sure.
